According to the reality of the Tiantai sect, the ten circles are all good and evil, so the number of one thousand and eighty is that there are one hundred and eight kinds of annoyances in the ten worlds, which decomposes one thousand and eighty kinds of annoyance. "Ten circles" means the whole world of fans and enlightenment, namely: 1, heaven, 2, hungry ghosts, 3, beasts, 4, Shura, 5, human world, 6, heaven and earth, 7, sound and world 8, the edge of the world, 9, the Bodhisattva, 10, the Buddha world.
(three) fifty-four
It represents fifty-four positions in the process of buddhism practice, including ten letters, ten lives, ten lines, ten times, ten places, and four good roots. The description is as follows:
Ten letters: 1, determination, 2, mind, 3, refined heart, 4, Huixin, 5, centered, 6, protect the heart, 7, back to the heart, 8, warned, 9, heart, 10, willingness.
Ten live: 1, first heart, 2, rule to live, 3, practice living, 4, live expensive, 5, convenient to live, 6, live, 7, do not retreat, 8, child really live, 9, the Prince of France lived, 10, the top of the house.
Ten elements: 1, happy, 2, Rao Yixing, 3, no hate, 4, endless, 5, from the chaos, 6, good current, 7, no line, 8, respect, 9, good law OK, 10, real line.
Ten times:
1. Rescue all sentient beings from the sentient beings, 2, not bad, 3, wait for all Buddhas to return, 4, to return to everything, 5, endless merits and hides, 6, follow the good roots, 7, with the wait to wait for all sentient beings to return, 8, as the phase returns, 9, no bond without getting rid of the return, 10, the French world is infinite.
Ten places:
1, happy, 2, from the ground, 3, luminous ground, 4, flames, 5, difficult resort, 6, the current place, 7, far away, 8, not moving, 9, good wisdom , 10, Fa Yundi.
Four good roots:
Refers to the four practice steps before the visit, the observation of the four hexagrams and the practice of the sixteenth line to reach the sanctuary, including: 1, warmth, 2, top position, 3, ninja, 4, the first method of the world Bit.
(four) forty-two
It represents the forty-two order of the practice of the Buddha, that is, ten, ten, ten, ten, and so on.
Consciousness: Another sense of righteousness means that the content is equal to the Buddha, and the practice is better than the Buddha. For a detailed understanding, please refer to the translation of "The King of the Kings of Prajna Paramita".
Wonderful feelings: It means that after the completion of the line, the Buddha's fruit is the result of the ignorance of the other elements.
(five) thirty-six
There is no exact meaning. It is usually thought to be easy to carry. It is three hundred and eighty-three in thirty-six, which contains the principle of being small and big, so it is opposite to one hundred and eight.
(six) twenty-seven
It represents the twenty-seven sages of the four-way four-fruit sacred, that is, the "eighteen schools" of the former four-way three fruits and the "nine-free school" of the fourth Alohan fruit.
Eighteen have learned: 1, with the letter, 2, with the law, 3, the letter, 4, see, 5, physical evidence, 6, family, 7, one (a), 8, pre-flow, 9, pre-fruit, 10, one to the direction, 11, one to fruit, 12, not to the direction, 13, not to fruit, 14, the same as Nirvana, 15, the same as Nirvana, 16, there is a line of Nirvana Disk, 17, no line like Nirvana, 18, the next color is final.
Nine no school: 1, dephasing, 2, observance, 3, death phase, 4, living phase, 5, can enter the phase, 6, not bad phase, 7, no regressive phase, 8, Hui get rid of the phase, 9, all Get rid of the phase.
(7) Twenty one
It means ten places, ten Balesam, and Buddha fruit. "Ten places" see the "fifty-four" section, "Ten Bala" see the introduction of the "disciple of the disciple", I will not repeat them. The "Buddha" refers to the fruit that reaches the final Buddha.
(eight) eighteen
Commonly known as "eighteen sons", the so-called "eighteen" refers to the "eighteen circles", that is, six, six dust, and six knowledge.
Six: 1, the eye, 2, the ear, 3, nose, 4, tongue, 5, body, 6, the world;
Six dusts: 1, color dust, 2, sound dust, 3, incense dust, 4, taste dust, 5, dust, 6, dust;
Six knowledge: 1, eyesight, 2, ear recognition, 3, nose knowledge, 4, tongue knowledge, 5, body knowledge, 6, understanding.
(9) Fourteen
It means that Guanyin Bodhisattva is as sympathetic as all the beings, such as Shifang, Sanshi and Liudao, so that all beings can obtain fourteen kinds of fearless merits. Fourteen fearless:
1. Make the beings return to their own self and get rid of them;
2, so that the public can rotate to know, encounter fire, fire can not burn;
3, so that the sentients rotate and listen, although the water is drifting, the water can not be smashed;
4, so that all sentient beings into the Raksha Ghost country, the ghosts destroy evil;
5, so that all the living beings will be eliminated, and they will be killed and the knife segments will be broken;
6, the Bodhisattva Ming Shi Shifang, so that all beings are not harmed by the medicine fork, all the ghosts;
7. Keep all beings from being shackled by false voices;
8. Let the sentient beings walk on the dangerous roads, and the thieves will not be robbed;
9, make sexually kinky, do not give birth to color;
10. Make people who hate and hate not swear;
11. Keep all faint and heartless people away from obscurity;
12, to make no sons, want a man, so that you have a man;
13. To make a child without a child, to be a woman, that is to have a daughter;
14, the people who hold the Guanyin name, the income of the Ford is the same as the number of the Ganges.
